$LEMON OriginsTo be honest, the meme coin space has grown very sour. It’s filled with scam artists and people really just looking to see who they can screw next.
Let’s be honest, everybody in meme coins is there to make money, we all know this and I’m not gonna sugar coat it. But doesn’t have to be just so…. Unenjoyable, disrespectful and secretive?Can’t we all just get along and have fun here again?Well my Nana always told me, you catch more flies with honey than you do lemon, when I was acting a little sour growing up!That’s where we find the $LEMON, multiple influences played a role in that, but largely the parody on my grandmother’s influence in my life.The DON? Well who doesn’t wanna be a Boss?So $LEMON is The Don Lemøn!So I basically had the idea complete for the name and coin, but I needed more to relate it to than just my childhood.So…..Now we come to Donald Trump. With Donald Trump in office, and all the sour always going around about him throughout the world, his cabinet and especially the opposing side(Dena), this meme hit here too.
This increased the meta and increased the possibility of virility so it was a very very happy fit!Unfortunately, I still couldn’t bring myself to launch the coin and get my $LEMON movement started. I needed something more, some sort of sign……THEN…..Watching the news one morning with my wife recently, I saw something pop up and I knew it was fate!Good meme coins have always spurred on jokes, parody and often had something linked to the news, world or politics, making it real and more relatable.Here’s the News Article
